After 40 years of over eating I think I finally found the diet that really works for me. It’s called the stop overeating diet.
You read it right stop over eating. What did it take to finally make me go on a diet? Well maybe not being able to find
any cloths that I enjoyed wearing, Having a hard time climbing stairs, being out of breath with the slightest movement,
not being able to go to the beach because i looked like a real slob, Having my blood pressure reach the roof, and my cholesterol
sky rocket, what how many more reasons do you want.
I guess however putting all those things together and having my doctor constantly telling me that I should lo0ose some weight if I
wanted to live a long and happy life triggered me to get with the program.
My daughter just had a baby and this beautiful baby is my first grandson, I guess I wanted to live a little longer to watch my grandson
grow and to be able to enjoy his company. I also bought a small roadster and decided that come the somer I would
enjoy this small sports car with my lovely wife in a comfortable and fit manner, so One day I decided that I would
start. However the question was how do I start. I was the king of crash diets and they worked for a week or two or a
month or two and then I would fall back. Well 305 lbs. And only 5 feet 9 inches tall was a little to much.
I decided to meet with Dr. Michel Sakellarides http://www.drsakellarides.com, and after one consultation I knew what
I wanted and what I had to do. That was slow down on my eating and change my eating habits, but how? Well that
was the easy part loosingthe weight maintaining the weight loss was another story.
Taking Dr. Michel Sakellarides advice I started on a program that he recommended.
So every Morning for breakfast I had,
2 eggs whites only, one slice of whole wheat toast, a small cucumber, 8 ounces of skimmed milk.
Coffee or tea although I enjoy tea.
I also took 1 multivitamin ( Centrum Forte) and one Cal K
Surprising this carried me well until lunch, when lunch came along I had,
I soup Protidiet soup (http://www.nutrig.com/) I love the taste and I fould them very inexpensive.
I also had a huge and i mean huge green salad with Balsamic vinegar only.
I also took 1 multivitamin ( Centrum Forte) and one Cal K
Coffee or tea although I like tea.
This then carried me until 4:30 and at 4:30 i had a nutibar also from Proti but that was only my preference.
At 6:00 PM I would have my dinner with always consisted of:
plus vegetables (2) for men
plus another huge salad with balsamic vinegar only.
Coffee or tea always black naturally with every meal.
Plus one Cal-K and a B12 vitamin 1200 mg.
If I got hungry around 10: pm I would often have another salad since I love salads or maybe a few nuts Almonds (8 or 10)
Well let me tell you the weight started to drop like raindrops in a rainstorm and before i knew it I was over 30 lbs lighter.
But I knew i could not do this all my life so I started on my quest on how to ma9intain my weight loss. And then Wham I
found the magic book by Rick Gallop the GI DIET www.gidiet.com . This man changed my life his advice and directions
made it easy and fun to maintain my weight loss. I loved the food he subjected and eating was always a feast and
healthy.
Look up some of my recipes and tell me what you think but remember to watch the portions. Small portions not
Huge plates of pasta.
I also always drank 8 to 10 glasses of water and often when I was real hungry a bottle of Perrier mineral water.
In about 5 months I have lost over 80 lbs and dropping my goal is now in sight and the beginning of a new and
healthy life. I have started to walk something that I have never done before in my life I now walk almost every day,
and have walked up to 10 kilometres in one day. Am I bragging yes I am since it have not dome this in the 60 years
of my life.
This has worked for me but it may not work for you only your doctor can advise you correctly, I am no doctor or
professional. I am just a normal guy who wanted to lose weight and this is how I did it.
